This book is FAB-ulous! From someone who has used that word in my own personal greeting for years - I was delighted to find this book. The illustrations are also, totally FAB-ulous!The story is heartwarming and the pace of it is perfect.I bought 7 copies so I could give it to members of my family this Christmas. They know that I collect children's books and they've been the recipients of copies of some of my favorites over the years that they've passed on to their children. This one is going to be a hit even though I know that hearing the word FAB-ulous is going to get really old by December 26th. :o)
Who doesn't love a boy who calls each and every thing "fabulous"? This was cute and rhymey, but if you are looking for a book about acceptance you may want to try "My Princess Boy" or "The Book with Pink Hair".
This book is full of adjectives! It is a great story of letting people be who they are and understanding. My son loves it.
I love the period in which it's set, I love it's passion, I love it's message, I love it's fancy-free spirit and rollicking energy. I love the writing and I love, love, love the art. I'd say it's incredibly well conceived and presented...but the better word is, of course: "Fabulous!" Thanks for this totally terrific piece of work!Scott J. I love this book - its a very sweet story. I love the bright colors - definitely grabs a child's attention! Would definitely recommend.
A story that touches on tolerance, but is mostly a rythmic happy count of a boy who takes the time to see his world and announce how "Fabulous" he thinks everything is. Very cute and fun book. Everyone should have it in their children's library.
A great book that shows that it's okay to boisterous about the things you appreciate. Truly fabulous illustrations (very colorful!). Hold our daughters attention - which is a huge win for any book at the young age of 14 months!
